We are absolutely overjoyed and proud to win the accolade of representing Malta in the 2011 edition of European Business Awards sponsored by HSBC, as one of 15 Country Representatives for our nation.

The de Mondion Restaurant was announced the winner of the top restaurant award at a glittering Gala Dinner in the Grand Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Resort St Julians on Monday 6th December.

We have long associated festivities and merrymaking with food and drink. Christmas is one of the major feasts that is made so special by the food we prepare and serve to our loved ones.Traditions through the ages as well as from country to country differ greatly. Yet a Roast turkey, plum pudding, Yule log and mince pies seem to be universally accepted as Christmas staples.  What we choose to put on our table depends on a mix of tradition and our own personal tastes. Most of the food we consider traditional is also symbolic.
