In 1530 the Knights of St. John first settled in Birgu, a narrow peninsula of land overlooking the creeks of the harbour. Birgu by Night is an insight to an era dominated by the Knights of St. John. Our walking tour will take you to the heart of the lamp-lit streets and alleys known as the 'collachio', to the area of old Palaces, the location of the original Auberges occupied by the Knights. You will also visit a 300 year old wine bar in the centre of this historical area, where you can sample a selection of quality local delicacies and wines (not included in price).
